"The Active Network (formerly Reserve America), is seeking energetic Reservation Agents to accept phone calls from customers throughout the United States interested in making reservations at various campgrounds.

We are conducting a paid training session starting Monday, 1/23 through and including Friday, 1/27 (9:00 -- 5:00). Entire training session must be completed to continue employment.

Please apply in person (40 South Street, Ballston Spa). Please call 583-6200 (dial 0) if you need directions. YOU MUST APPLY BEFORE MONDAY 1/16 2:00.

In mid-February, we are moving to Division Street in Saratoga where we will offer company-designated free parking a block away from our office." (my bold)

Division Street ? What location would be available to handle the amount of employees that Active Network requires ?  The old Ellsworth Ice Cream manufacturing building ?  A space at 18 Division Street condos ? Or even the Wise building. It's anyone's guess.

Parking a block away ?  The new to-be-built 400 space parking garage on Woodlawn Avenue?

The Active Network (formerly Reserve America) parent company is Ticketmaster...who is also Live Nation.  Maybe SPAC will partner up and provide a drive-thru ticket window.  !

We are afraid that Broadway and Divsion will start looking like this:

Verizon Call Center on Phila Street

Chowderfest in Saratoga Springs 70,000 chowder samples served !

After circling downtown Saratoga Springs looking for a parking spot -to no avail- we headed "out of town" for chowder.  One spot we stopped at was the Brunswick Bed and Breakfast on Union Avenue.  We walked pass the meat smoker on the front porch and was greeted by a very friendly woman who escorted us inside to a quaint dining room.  It was there that we met the owner, Kirk Nichols, who was pulling double duty as the chef and also smoking the bacon on the front porch.  It was so nice to sit at a table inside and converse for awhile with other chowderheads.  The homemade corn and cranberry muffin was a nice extra treat.
